Luis Figueroa, AIA
Principal

Luis Figueroa has a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from Texas A&M University. He specializes in project management of educational, commercial, religious, health care, industrial, and housing projects. He directs his major efforts toward overall management to assure that each phase of the project development is properly implemented. This entails coordination of the initial programming of clients' needs and the project schedule, as well as continuous client contact to determine that all requirements are met from the construction documents through project completion. Mr. Figueroa will remain personally involved from the date of the interview through contractual negotiations, programming, design, contract award, construction and warranty period. His experience includes municipal, state and federal government projects; community resource centers; educational facilities; and private and commercial projects.

Mr. Figueroa is the Past President of the Lower Rio Grande Valley Chapter/American Institute of Architects and is currently a member of the Ambulance Evaluation Board for the City of McAllen.


Dan Ogden, AIA
Principal

Mr. Ogden has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Texas A&M University and has directed the planning and design of the firm's public and private projects for over 26 years. He is responsible for the overall daily planning and design of the project. He will direct the project team in order to meet your goals and monitor the schedule and budget. Due to his extensive experience, he will be an integral part and leader of the team through concept development, design and construction. To coordinate these functions, he will attend meetings and presentations. He is responsible for the clear communication of project goals to the team members.

Mr. Ogden has served as project manager, project architect, contract supervisor and cost control administrator for a number of educational, institutional, commercial, religious, and governmental projects. Mr. Ogden is currently Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Board of Adjustment and Appeals for the City of McAllen, Past President of the Lower Rio Grande Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and Past Vice-President of the Texas Society of Architects.


Reynaldo Zamora, Jr., AIA
Principal

Mr. Zamora has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from University of Texas at Austin and has ten years of experience with various types of projects. He is responsible for the management of the production team and construction contract administration. He has prepared the construction documents for the Library/Learning Center/Auditorium for the Marine Military Academy in Harlingen, Texas, the Additions to Black Intermediate School and the Renovations and Remodeling of the Armando Cuellar Middle School for the Weslaco Independent School District of Weslaco, Texas.

His responsibilities also include construction administration. He specializes in optimizing productivity and response time to our client's needs. His duties include "early" bid coordination, periodic inspections, change order negotiations, shop drawing review, pay requests, punch lists, pre-construction conferences and post-construction warranty inspections. His experience includes education, government and municipal facilities.

Prior to joining ROFDW, Mr. Zamora spent several years practicing architecture in San Luis Potosi, Monterrey, Mexico, and in Austin, Texas. He is currently President of the Lower Rio Grande Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.


Mike Allex., AIA
Principal

Mr. Allex has a Bachelor of Architecture degree with Design Specialization from Texas Tech University. He has nine years of architectural experience which include educational facilites, shopping centers, day care centers, residential design, restaurants, multi-screen movie theaters, churches, industrial facilities, commercial remodeling, and leasing finish-out. In 1988, he was a student member of the American Institute of Architects' Regional Urban Development Assistance Team (RUDAT) studying the Rio Grande Valley.

Mr. Allex manages the Harlingen branch office. He has been instrumental in production of construction documents for projects at the Marine Military Academy, Texas A&M University's Colonias Community Centers, the Padre Island Brewing Company and the Ronald McDonald House. He assists in marketing the Cameron County area.

Mr. Allex is past treasurer of the Harlingen Chamber of Commerce VIP Club and a 1995 graduate of Leadership Harlingen. He is a member of the Lower Rio Grande Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and past Chairman of the Office Olympics for the Jackson Street Jubilee - Harlingen's annual street festival. He is currently a District Commissioner for the Boy Scouts of America.
