Bill Dickson, AIA
Principal
Mr. Dickson has a Bachelor of
Architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is a founding partner of
ROFDW. He is active in all phases of practice. With significant projects completed in both
the public and private sectors, Mr. Dickson has the technical and management expertise to
keep complex projects on track.
As Principal, Mr. Dickson works
closely with the client and remains involved with the project from proposal to substantial
completion. An excellent facilitator, Mr. Dickson on numerous occasions has acted as
liaison between owner and governing municipalities and/or private entities creating
effective solutions to potentially job impacting problems.
Professionally, Mr. Dickson has been
very active in architectural/construction practice, ethics and code issues, and has served
on numerous boards and committees. He has specialized skills in the areas of land
planning/zoning, office and industrial planning and design. His experience includes
government, child/youth care, education, office/retail, corporate, broadcast and
residential facilities.
W.
Michael Wells, AIA
Principal
Mr. Wells has a Bachelor of
Architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin and extensive experience in the
management of new and alterations-type projects. He has been the Principal-in-Charge and
primary designer on the majority of child care facilities that this firm has completed and
for federal, state, corporate, and university centers. Mr. Wells has led site feasibility
studies, managed the design of both new facilities and renovation of existing buildings,
and coordinated with the Architect of Record for centers being designed within new
headquarter facilities.
He is currently the
Principal-in-Charge of the child care centers for the Navy, Boeing, Chase, Monsanto, and
of the multi-task contracts for United States Postal Service. His government projects
include managing Indefinite Delivery Contracts (IDC) for General Services Administration,
U.S. Navy, and the U.S. Postal Service. His institutional facility experience includes
projects for the Texas Youth Commission and Texas Department of Transportation, Federal
Correctional Institution - Seagoville, and the Texas and Dallas County Departments of
Mental Health and Mental Retardation.
Mr.
Wells is Past President of the Dallas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects
and serves on the Advisory Board to an agency of the Texas Workforce Commission.
Dan
Arrowood, AIA
Principal
Mr. Arrowood has been with the firm
since 1983 and has a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from Texas A&M
University. He has been involved directly with many of the firms major projects. His
responsibilities currently include design, project management and firm personnel
administration for the Dallas office of ROFDW.
Most recently he has provided design
and project management services for the U.S. Navy Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Child
Development Center in Bremerton, WA, as well as the Gilbert Cuellar Elementary School for
Dallas Public Schools, the Boeing Family Center in Everett, Washington and a new
headquarters building for United Cerebral Palsy of Metropolitan Dallas. His project
experience includes delivering projects ranging from a 2,500 square foot bank to a 20,000
square foot child care facility to a 250,000 square foot Office/Distribution Center for a
variety of both public and private clients. These include child care/youth care
facilities; Texas National Guard armory facilities; office buildings and numerous
corporate, retail and religious facilities.
In addition to a superior
understanding of architectural documentation, Mr. Arrowood is an outstanding designer and
delineator who takes great pride in developing a well organized and "buildable"
project.
Larry
E. Janousek, AIA
Principal
Mr. Janousek has a Bachelor of
Architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin and has been Project Architect
on a variety of complex building types since 1975. His specific responsibilities have
included schematic design, production, and project management, including scheduling, cost
control, specification writing and construction administration. He has been the designer
and Project Architect on numerous facilities in and for the State of Texas. He is very
familiar with indefinite delivery and multi-phase contracts.
As a skilled designer, Mr. Janousek
provides a unique insight to the projects he manages and for which he provides
construction administration. Recently he has been Project Architect for the new $7.3
million Gilbert Cuellar, Sr. Elementary School in Dallas, and Project Manager for the
Corsicana State Home and Brownwood State School Renovation projects for the Texas Youth
Commission. Currently, Mr. Janousek is managing indefinite delivery projects for the
United States Postal Service and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. His experience
includes government, correctional, educational, commercial, and recreational facilities.
