FIRM HISTORY
In 1993, Dickson/Wells Partners, Inc., joined with
Rike, Ogden, Figueroa of McAllen and Harlingen, Texas, to become ROFDW
architects. Following the loss of Mr. Dickson after a prolonged
battle with cancer in early 2004, ROFDW was dissolved. The Dallas
office became Wells, Janousek Architects, Pllc, in October, 2004. We
are a new company, with a proud heritage of quality professional services.
While we are in the process of building accomplishments and relationships
under our new banner, we feel it appropriate to recognize the accolades
and achievements we earned under the banner of ROFDW, which characterize
the nature and value of our approach to the practice of architecture.
Significant accomplishments include recognition and
awards from the design community and the construction industry. The
Dallas office received recognition and awards from the American Institute
of Architects and American School and University Publications.
Industry awards have come from the Association of General Contractors
(including "Project of the Year" for our Vogel Alcove Child Development
Center for homeless children), and the Association of Builders and
Contractors. However, we have always valued the recognition we have
received from our peers and our clients as the highest form of
recognition, including Facilities of Merit awards from the United States
Postal Service and the Texas Military Facilities Commission, and "Firm of
the Year" from the Dallas Chapter, American Institute of Architects.
It is this form of recognition that tells us that we are making a
difference for our clients, and setting an example for our peers.
Our clients include JP Morgan Chase Bank, Boeing
Commercial Airplane Group, Household Finance, Siebel Systems, Citigroup, Motorola, Presbyterian
Healthcare Systems, MGM Grand Hotel, Monsanto, Mayo Clinic, and the
General Services Administration. |
