This facility serves both children and adults with special needs. The building features an inviting, open lobby area to welcome the 100 plus clients of UCP. It also includes administrative offices, occupational and physical therapy areas, classrooms, a computer room, a 50 seat community room, and a special needs child care.

This 30,000 square foot structure sleeps 350 homeless people nightly. The facility includes sleeping space, showers and toilets, dormitory space, clinic space, kitchen and food services, storage space for donated clothing and administrative areas.

This facility was constructed in 1970 and expanded in 1977. Dedicated on October 22, 1992, the 5,000 square foot addition contains new dorms, classrooms, offices, living, dining and kitchen facilities, recreational space, staff and counselor offices, and public areas. The project included the complete reworking of exisiting spaces.

Built by a public/private partnership, this center houses programs for status offenders, abused, neglected, and runaway youth. Family counseling and short-term dormitory (emergency shelter) residence are also provided. The building features counselling and teaching facilities, dorms, living rooms, offices, gym, outdoor courtyards and indoor recreation center.

This "home away from home" for six families of seriously ill children is designed with the ability to expand to ten families. These families stay in bedroom suites with a private bathroom. The building also provides a common kitchen, dining, playroom, family room and living room. These areas are centrally located and adjacent to each other so the familites can interact and support one another.

As part of a collaboration of design professionals, ROFDW provided pro-bono services for design/documentation of the medical building. This worthy project was part of a camp for critically ill children which contains cabins, dining facilities, art and crafts, and recreational camping activities in addition to a specialized medical facility.

This restaurant reflects Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula culture and traditions. An entry courtyard invites customers into the festive atmosphere of a market with open crates of fruits and vegetables lining the waiting area. Interior finishes include exposed ductwork and salvaged barn wood and doors. This design was adapted for more than 30 sites located throughout the United States.

This facility consists of a boathouse containing food storage and prep areas; the dock, which has both enclosed and outdoor seating; and the boat, where the wheelhouse encloses a kitchen at the end of the oyster bar. The landscape features a lighthouse set among marsh grasses.

The Padre Island Brew Co. includes a full service kitchen; bars accommodating indoor and outdoor dining areas, which present a unique and pleasurable experience; a brewery that manufactures, stores and serves hand-crafted beer; and structural considerations that make it possible for this building to withstand hurricane force winds and storm surge.
