Mike Allex, AIA Associate Principal
|
Mr. Allexs nine years of
architectural experience include educational facilities, shopping
centers, day care centers, residential design, restaurants,
multi-screen movie theaters, churches, industrial facilities,
commercial remodeling, and leasing finish-out. In 1988, he was a
student member of the American Institute of Architects
Regional Urban Development Assistance Team (RUDAT) studying the
Rio Grande Valley.
An essential part of the
Harlingen branch office, Mr. Allex has been instrumental in
production of construction documents for projects at the Marine
Military Academy, Texas A&M Universitys Colonias
Community Centers, and numerous residential projects. He
constantly updates and improves his superior computer aided
design (CAD) skills while meeting stringent drafting schedules
and deadlines.
Mr. Allex is treasurer of the
Harlingen Chamber of Commerce V.I.P. Club and is a 1995 graduate
of Leadership Harlingen. He is a member of the Lower Rio Grande
Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and is
Chairman of the Office Olympics for the Jackson Street
Jubilee--Harlingens annual street festival.
